Overview
Loft and Ladder Co is seeking a reliable and hardworking Loft Boarding Installer to join our growing installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing loft boarding systems, loft ladders, insulation, lighting, and associated loft storage solutions to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
As a representative of the company within customers' homes, the role requires excellent workmanship, professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Install loft boarding systems in accordance with company specifications and industry best practice.
- Install loft ladders, loft hatches, loft lighting, and insulation products.
- Carry out pre-installation assessments and identify any issues that may affect installation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment within customers' homes.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers throughout the installation process.
- Complete job documentation, installation reports, and photographic records as required.
- Safely use and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve installation targets and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Report any customer concerns, health and safety issues, or defects to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in a practical trade such as joinery, carpentry, roofing, loft installations, general construction, or property maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
