Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Wrap Around Care Assistant to provide high-quality support for children in our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment before and after school hours. Responsibilities
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.
- Assist children with homework and learning activities, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Support children in developing social skills through organised play and group activities.
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure the care environment is clean, organised, and welcoming for all children.
- Drive children safely to and from designated locations if required, adhering to all road safety regulations.
- Support children with personal care needs as necessary in a respectful and discreet manner.
- Safeguard children following Warwickshire safeguarding framework.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, teaching, or similar roles is desirable.
- Level 2 or 3 in a childcare qualification
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging activities tailored to children's needs.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children and parents alike.
- Ability to work flexibly during before and after-school hours; reliability is essential.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development.

Pay: £12.21-£17.95 per hour
