Summary
The Governors of St Josephs Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an effective, enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant, with the skills, knowledge, energy, and empathy to join our successful school. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification (or equivalent)
- First Aid/Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Essential Experience
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
Desirable Experience
- Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage
- Experience of working in EYFS setting
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
