Deans Pharmacy – Wishaw
Monday to Friday | 9:00am–6:00pm | 40 hours per week
Deans Pharmacy is looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused Pharmacy Stock Controller to join our team in Wishaw.
This role is focused on managing the day-to-day stock requirements of our automated pharmacy operation. You will be responsible for ensuring stock is received, processed, accurately recorded and available within our pharmacy robot to support the wider dispensing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing daily stock orders
- Filling and replenishing the pharmacy robot with stock
- Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Managing stock rotation and helping to minimise shortages and wastage
- Completing stock and order-related administration
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Supporting end-of-month stock processes
- Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock is correctly accounted for
- Keeping stock areas organised and well maintained
- Completing general duties associated with the smooth running of the stock function
- Working independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider pharmacy team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Accurate and methodical in their approach to work
- Comfortable managing both physical stock and administrative tasks
- Confident using computer-based systems and technology
- Able to prioritise and manage their own workload
- Comfortable working independently within a busy team environment
- Reliable and able to follow established processes accurately
Previous experience in stock control, inventory, warehouse, pharmacy, administration or a similar process-based environment would be beneficial, although pharmacy experience is not essential.
Attention to detail is particularly important, as the stock managed within this role feeds directly into our pharmacy robot and wider dispensing operation.
Training
Full training will be provided on our pharmacy systems, stock processes and automated technology.
