The Rose & Crown has been part of Ulverston for over 40 years. We’re a proper local pub, serving great food, good drinks and giving our guests a reason to keep coming back.
We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our bar and restaurant team.

The role
Every shift is different. You’ll be welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks and making sure people have a great time.
You’ll also help keep the pub clean and organised, support your teammates and get involved wherever you’re needed.
It’s a varied role where you’ll meet plenty of people, learn new skills and be part of a team that takes pride in what we do.
What we’re looking for
Experience is great, but personality matters more.
You’ll need to be:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Reliable and willing to get stuck in
- A good team player
- Comfortable working at pace
- Keen to learn and improve
- Proud of the job you do
