Your Mission
Our business is growing - fast. We have ambitious plans that mean we need to hire the best people in our industry. Including you. You’ll be the second member of our TA team, working alongside our existing TA Specialist offering end-to-end hiring support for teams across the business.
Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll partner with senior leaders to define their hiring needs, adding your market knowledge to theirs to make sure we’re matching our ambitions to the local talent pool. We’re a team of individual contributors and deep technical experts, so this role is particularly well suited to recruiters with a strong headhunting background, who’re able to map the market and track down the very best people.
What you’ll be doing
This is an end to end recruitment role, meaning you’ll take point on everything from taking the brief to making the offer. There is also scope to get involved in wider value-add projects which will offer skills growth for in-house recruiters looking to strengthen their commercial and business partnering skills.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
-
Partnership + business understanding: you’ll need to be an extended member of the teams you support, so that you can truly partner with them, making sure you understand their key challenges so you can advise and guide them effectively through the full recruitment lifecycle
- Building talent pipelines: you’ll be proactively building talent pools so we can hit the ground running as roles are released in line with the hiring plan - you’ll need to be an engaging ambassador for Field as you proactively reach out to candidates to explain why they should join us
- Overseeing efficient hiring processes: it’ll be your job to make sure our hiring processes are as efficient and impactful as possible - this will include designing the overall process with hiring managers, juggling multiple diaries to make sure we keep up the pace, and making sure candidate communication is always on point
- Insight + reporting: you’ll review and improve our current set of performance tracking tools, setting stretch KPIs and providing regular data so we can see where the process needs to be optimised
- Shaping our employer brand: whether through crafting content for our website, attending in-person events, or designing new attraction tools, you’ll be responsible for translating our culture for applicants so everyone learns what a great place to work Field is
- Project scoping + delivery: there will be tons of opportunities to get involved in extra, value-add projects outside of your core role, including supporting with benefits design, internal communication, training the team on hiring topics, supporting our EDI activities, and much more
The skills you’ll need
- Demonstrable skills in candidate sourcing, headhunting and proactive talent attraction, having a proven track record of filling niche roles in competitive markets
- Substantial in-house recruitment experience - able to hit the ground running and add real value through the strength of your industry knowledge and professional network
- A naturally organised and methodical approach, with a knack for designing hiring workflows that are efficient without feeling rigid - you know that rigour and consistency is the key filling roles quickly, fairly and with a great candidate experience throughout
- Strong data analysis skills, including confident use of excel / sheets, so you can dig into our hiring data and find out what it’s telling us about how we can improve
- Resilience and creativity in the face of challenges - you’re someone who never gives up and is able to think laterally to find solutions to complex problems
