Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager (Retail) to join our friendly and diverse team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail operations. Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring smooth and efficient store functioning
- Supervise and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
- Support merchandising activities, including stock organisation, visual displays, and inventory management
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and communication
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Support administrative tasks such as reporting, record keeping, and organising staff training sessions
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional development and teamwork
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated competency in sales management, merchandising, and time management
- Previous administrative experience is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently under pressure
- Professional demeanour with good phone etiquette and organisational skills.

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,047.70 per year
