Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in food preparation and culinary tasks as needed, ensuring quality control throughout the food production process.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for excellent service at all times.
- Train new employees on operational procedures, food safety practices, and customer service expectations.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- A basic knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for the hospitality industry, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
