Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision for various construction and landscaping tasks
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material transportation to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times during manual handling, equipment operation, and site activities
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects requiring construction experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is highly advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Valid safety certifications or willingness to obtain necessary safety training prior to start is a plus
