We are recruiting for an energetic morning shift Line Chef to join our team at the Ergon Deli + Cafe store in the heart of London, Mayfair. In your role of cook you will have the opportunity to work in a pleasant environment, being responsible for delivering superb service! What you need to have as a Line Chef:
- Very good command of the English language
- Experience of working in a kitchen
- Professionalism and reliability
- Hard working, having the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Keeping calm and working well under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility with working hours
- Paying attention to details
- Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs
- Passion for food and customer care
In your role as a Line Chef you'll:
- Prepare delicious meals
- Be creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs
- Monitor portion control and wastage
- Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
- Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times
- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of the menu, allergens and food safety
- Support with all kitchen organization, supply deliveries, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
- Paying attention to details
