Job Overview
We are looking for some self employed joiners to help with some commercial office fit outs and domestic extensions in Lancaster and Garstang
Candidates must drive. Essential.
Work will be for about 4 weeks or potentially longer for the right candidate.
Rates to be agreed.
Work commencing the week of Monday 24th August 2026.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install bespoke joinery components such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture with accuracy and care
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete fabrication and installation tasks
- Perform carpentry duties including framing, roofing support, and structural repairs as needed
- Conduct masonry work, plumbing connections, electrical installations or repairs where required for integrated projects
- Assist with construction painting, finishing touches, and surface preparation to ensure a polished final result
- Lift heavy materials safely during site operations while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met on time and within budget
Experience
- Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Skilled in fabrication, assembly, and detailed joinery work using both hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems, electrical experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely in demanding environments
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques and finishing processes
- Strong understanding of health & safety standards relevant to construction sites
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects independently
Pay: £16.17-£25.00 per hour
