Job overview
Lone Rambler Dry Goods is looking for a part-time Workshop and Retail Assistant to join our small workshop and shop in Bristol.
We make workwear, leather goods, bags, belts and small batch clothing, and we also sell a small selection of products from other makers and brands.
This is a practical, hands-on role. At the beginning, the main focus will be helping with belt production, leather work, canvas work, keeping the shop organised, helping customers, packing orders, and generally helping with whatever needs doing in a small workshop and shop.
The business is growing, and this role is part of the first step towards building a small team. Over time, the role may develop depending on the person and the needs of the business. That could include more production work, customer service, online orders, stock, retail, marketing, or helping run the workshop day to day.
You do not need formal experience, but you do need to be practical, reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a small, busy workshop.
