Role Overview
This position will be part of the Supply Chain Knowledge Centre, and as a key member of the team you will support in managing and developing the partnership with the retailer as well as collaborating with internal strategic supplier account managers, in order to create value for Circana and the retailer. The retail account manager must be comfortable in a range of situations from; fully owning the day to day operational procedures, in depth understanding of retailer processes to ways of working and influencing key stakeholders while managing internal projects to bring increased value or benefit.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive partnership relationship with the retailer
- Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals
- Ownership of day to day running of the account
- Support Retail Account Director to deliver retailer JBP
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
- Engage cross-functionally with a variety of teams, internally and with retailer. Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.
- Deliver a high level of excellence in customer service to retailer partners and internal contacts
- Develop and share supply chain improvement ideas to retailer and the strategic account manager team
Requirements
- Experience working in a supply chain role, ideally experience comes from retailer supply role or working within a supplier supply chain function dealing directly with a retailer.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to build strong working relationships remotely and work on own initiative
- Be flexible to travel to Nottingham and be on site at retailer
- Strong communication proficiency notably be able to clearly articulate via written communication, in meetings and when delivering presentations
- Competent in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel or other data analysis software
