Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting with meal preparation. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Support the team in meal assembly and presentation according to established standards
- Follow food safety regulations and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies
- Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment of ingredients
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning correctly and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to facilitate smooth service delivery
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is desirable .
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience in restaurant or catering services, including serving or supporting food service operations, is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and cleanliness
Pay: £12.21-£14.28 per hour
