Active Staff are proud to be working with an innovative Electronics Manufacturing business in Andover. They are looking to bolster the team with an experienced Production Operative. You will be joining a truly fantastic company who have very little staff turnover and a company who really invests in their staff.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:45am - 15:00pm.

The Role of the Production Operative:
- Wire electronic assemblies using drawings, work orders and work instructions.
- Cut, strip, terminate and crimp wires to connectors and electrical/electro-mechanical units.
- Carry out wire looming, cable manufacture, prototype wiring and soldering.
- Assemble and integrate PCBs, components and wiring.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies where required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
- Support the wider production team across build projects.
- Identify and report issues with drawings, procedures, BOMs and manufacturing processes.
About You
- 2+ years' wiring experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical/electro-mechanical and basic electronics knowledge.
- Excellent soldering, crimping and wiring skills.
- Experience with PCB assembly, cable manufacture and wire looming.
- Able to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Able to work independently and under pressure to deadlines.
- High workmanship standards, ideally within defence or a regulated environment.
- Willing to learn, adapt and develop within the team.
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
