Location: North East of England - Newcastle Upon Tyne, ideally home address no more than 1 hour away from North East
Salary: £45-50,000 per annum

Travel: Regular travel across the North East, nationwide travel for clinical checks and package oversight, and travel to Head Office in Tamworth as required (expenses paid)
About the role
An ambitious and fast-growing community complex care provider is seeking a highly capable Clinical Lead / Nurse Manager to help shape and strengthen exceptional care delivery across the North East of England. This is a senior clinical leadership role for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about high-quality care, confident working independently, and motivated to achieve something special within social care.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership across community complex care packages, support service growth, and play a central role in ensuring safe, effective, responsive and well-led services in line with CQC expectations for regulated activities and day-to-day service management.
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied and high-impact portfolio, including:
Management and oversight of complex care packages in the community.
Clinical package management from assessment through mobilisation and ongoing review.
Writing, reviewing and updating person-centred care plans.
Completing new package assessments and comprehensive risk assessments.
Delivering clinical competencies and practical sign-off for clinical teams.
Conducting audits, spot checks and quality assurance activity to maintain safe and effective care.
Travelling nationally to complete checks on clinical teams and care packages.
Upskilling, coaching and supporting other Registered Nurses and wider care teams.
Supporting business development and growth through clinical input, mobilisation support and service readiness.
Leading on the TDDI side of CQC registration and helping ensure robust clinical governance arrangements are in place for regulated activity delivery.
Attending meetings at Head Office in Tamworth as required; travel expenses will be paid.

Essential criteria
Paediatric nurse with extensive adult complex care experience, or a dual-registered nurse. NMC Register - children is essential.
Experience supporting or preparing for CQC registration activity, particularly in relation to treatment of disease, disorder or injury (TDDI).
Registered Nurse with substantial experience in community complex care.
Previous experience in adult complex care within community or social care settings is essential.
Strong background in package management, clinical assessments, care planning, auditing and risk management.
Confident working on own initiative while also contributing positively as part of a wider team.
Ambitious, driven, flexible and solutions-focused, with a genuine desire to improve outcomes and help change the face of social care for the better.
Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel extensively.
Must be willing to attend Head Office meetings in Tamworth when required.
Strong understanding of governance, evidence, risk, and quality oversight expected of leaders managing regulated services.
