Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Serving food and beverages at the bar and dining area with professionalism and courtesy
- Preparing drinks according to standard recipes and presentation standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately, including processing payments
- Assisting with food preparation when necessary, adhering to health and safety standards
- Providing attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with guest services, upselling, and creating a welcoming atmosphere is desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: £12.70-£14.00 per hour
