About Abbots Oak Manor
Abbots Oak Manor is a beautifully restored Grade II listed manor, set within approximately 5.5 acres of gardens, with a rich history dating back to the 13th century.
The manor is being prepared for use as a luxury holiday accommodation / Airbnb-style property, and we are looking for a reliable and highly attentive cleaner to help maintain the property to an exceptionally high standard.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to help keep the manor immaculate, spotless, fresh and guest-ready at all times. The successful candidate will work two days per week and will be responsible for maintaining the manor to an exceptionally high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors throughout the manor
- Dusting and polishing furniture, woodwork and fixtures
- Cleaning mirrors, glass, windows and other surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms to a high standard
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas and appliances
- Changing and making beds and ensuring bedrooms are beautifully presented
- Checking that all rooms are clean, tidy and guest-ready
- Replenishing toiletries and other guest supplies when required
- Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items to management
- Following cleaning checklists and maintaining consistent standards between guest stays
- Paying particular attention to detail in a large, luxury and historic property
About You
- We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Understands the high standards expected in a luxury holiday accommodation
- Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is comfortable working in a large property and completing thorough cleaning tasks
- Takes care when cleaning historic and delicate features
- Has previous experience in luxury accommodation, hotels, holiday lets, Airbnb properties or high-end residential cleaning — preferred but not essential
- Is flexible and able to work around guest changeover dates
