Care Assistant
To provide care in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time to time. You are required to maintain care skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
Job Responsibilities: to undertake personal care duties as required to service users; to support service users in a way that maintains dignity and privacy; to participate in record keeping, through brief written recording on individual case files; to meet service users' needs; to assist service users in performance of practical tasks; to promote independence; to undertake core training and attend staff meetings as and when required; to comply with health and safety requirements

N.M.W 18 - 21 years of age
£12.80 over 21 Years of age
£13.05 if over 21 years of age and qualified with a NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care*
*Please note, rate of pay is subject to evidence of NVQ certificate.

Schedule: 12 Hour, Day Shift on a 7 day rolling rota. if applicable must hold current residents permit to reflect this.
