Tarmacking/ patching operatives
Hutchings Groundworks is a family run business based in Newton Abbot, working throughout the Southwest of England. We are seeking experienced Tarmacking Operatives to join our team for multiple ongoing contracts across Devon & Cornwall.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to become part of a well-established and expanding surfacing company with a strong pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities
· To conduct to a high-standard, hand lay surfacing works on various projects.
· Operate and maintain tarmacking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
· Work as part of a professional focused team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
· To ensure all health and safety standards on site are always adhered to.
· Travelling to various sites across the Southwest of England.
Requirements
· Proven experience in tarmacking / surfacing operations (hand lay patching/potholing)
· CSCS is a definite requirement.
· NPORS – Roller.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A commitment to quality workmanship and safe working practices.
· A strong work ethic and willingness to help other team members.
· Full UK driving licence.
· HGV would be a benefit but not essential.
