We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with a good work ethic to join our team to help lead a team of warehouse operatives in Stuntney, Ely. The successful candidate will have experience in leading a team and also previous warehouse experience.
You would be working closely underneath the management team within a 3PL warehouse, fulfilling customers orders, supporting warehouse operatives, dealing with stock etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Using a variety of equipment and software.
- Picking, packing and shipping items.
- Unpacking of goods in the warehouse.
- Packing goods for distribution.
- Manual stock control.
- Sorting/packing product as it comes off of machines.
- General warehouse duties (e.g. loading and shrink wrapping pallets, unloading containers, keeping warehouse tidy etc).
- Learning and providing cover for roles within the business.
- Support with emails and telephone calls
- Communication with clients
- Supervise and train staff
- Delegate tasks as appropriate
- Oversee the efficient receipt, processing, storage, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods

- Must have experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Must have experience in leading a team
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment.
- Should be aware of health and safety within a warehouse environment.
- Must be a good time keeper who is reliable and a team player.
- Have a good attitude to their work!
- High standard of attention to detail
- Must be computer literate and have a good manner when liasing with clients
- Forklift license/experience is preferred
Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm (40 hours per week) (This can vary during peak times) Saturday working will be required bi-weekly once fully trained working 9am-1pm at x1.5 rate.
