You’ll be working with one of the UK’s leading haulage and logistics companies, delivering palletised goods to stores across the country. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent, well-paid work with flexibility.
The Role:
- Deliver palletised goods across the UK (curtainsider work)
- A mix of store deliveries and shunting, depending on the client
- Some runs may involve using a manual pump truck to load/unload heavy pallets
- Nights out available but not required.
- Complete a paid client assessment (including Highway Code and driving check) before starting
- Once assessed, you’ll have access to work with a range of local clients to suit your schedule
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months’ recent Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid Digi Tacho and CPC cards
- No more than 6 penalty points and no previous bans
- Reliable, professional attitude and good understanding of driver hours and road safety
Pay Rates (PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay):
- Days: £16.00 per hour (£18.27 including holiday pay)
- Weekends: £17.00 per hour (£19.31 including holiday pay)
- Overtime (after 40 hours): £24.00 per hour (£27.33 including holiday pay)
- Night Out Allowance: £25.00
