We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative in our Commercial Grounds Maintenance Company.
Your main duties and responsibilities for this particular role will include grass cutting, litter picking, boarder maintenance, clearing leaves and using handheld tools.
There is a clear pathway for further development which will create increased earning opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Training will be provided to operate the following machinery - Lawn mowers, strimmer’s, hedge trimmers and backpack blowers.
- General good housekeeping
- All PPE and uniform will be provided
- Well presented at all times to create a professional image for the company
- Punctuality / time keeping is essential
- To be friendly and able to work under instruction and within a team
Candidate Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about working outdoors.
- The manual role will require the successful candidate to be physically fit in order to carry out works required and be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Good time management
- A positive attitude and a willingness to follow instruction.
- Working Hours Start time between 0530-0630 - Finish time 1430-1530 Working hours may vary depending on the area of work.
- Willingness to work an occasional Saturday would be helpful but not necessary which would be paid additionally.
