The Opportunity: Taphouse Bar & Kitchen Assistant
If you love great beer, great food, and great vibes, this role could be a perfect fit. We’re looking for someone passionate about hospitality who can support both the bar and the kitchen as we expand our offering.
This role offers variety, progression opportunities and the chance to be part of a friendly, ambitious team with big plans for the future.
Responsibilities Include:
Front of House
- Welcoming customers and creating a positive, friendly atmosphere
- Working behind the bar and sharing knowledge of our beers and drinks
- Keeping all areas of the venue clean and presentable
- Stocking the bar and fridges
- Collecting and washing glassware
- Setting up for gigs, events, and festivals
- Supporting safe opening and closing procedures
- Acting as an ambassador for Steel Brew Co.
Kitchen Support
- Assisting the kitchen team with basic preparation and service
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
- Helping with clearing, cleaning, and organisation during busy periods
- Supporting kitchen operations during events and private bookings
What You Need to Bring:
- Experience in a bar, café, pub or hospitality environment
- Confidence dealing with customers and delivering excellent service
- An interest in craft beer and hospitality (training provided)
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and support both bar and kitchen teams
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a good sense of humour
- Passion for quality and pride in your work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
