Week 1: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Week 2: Monday–Friday, 10:30am–7:00pm

The Role
We are looking for a Production Support Operator to join our feed mill team.
This is a hands-on production role involving accurate micro ingredient weighing, scheduled and ad-hoc industrial cleaning, housekeeping and general production support.
You will help maintain feed safety, product quality and efficient mill operations by ensuring ingredients are available, production areas are clean and organised, and company standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately hand weigh micro ingredients using computer-based weighing systems and maintain stock accuracy and traceability.
- Complete scheduled and ad-hoc industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery, stores, welfare facilities and external areas to maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Respond to spillages, manage waste correctly and maintain clean, organised work areas.
- Support bagging operations, operate the weighbridge and assist with general production activities when required.
- Complete production, cleaning and stock records accurately.
- Follow health, safety, feed safety, COSHH, quality and environmental procedures, and support corrective actions where required.
About You
Essential:
- Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
- Reliable and dependable, with commitment to regular attendance and working scheduled shifts.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable with manual handling up to 25kg and standing for extended periods.
- Own reliable transport due to the rural location and shift pattern.
Desirable:
- Experience in manufacturing, production, food or feed environments.
- FLT or other workplace transport training/experience.
- Experience of industrial cleaning or COSHH procedures.
