Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Lead and supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Develop creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends while catering to guest preferences
- Manage food production processes efficiently to minimize waste and optimize resource use
- Oversee team management by training, mentoring, and motivating kitchen staff to deliver excellent service
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the kitchen
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth serving of meals and timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to support seamless kitchen operations
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols and compliance standards
- Experience in menu development and food production planning
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments
