Deputy Manager Lifelong Learning Centre, Oxfordshire
About the role
We're looking for a passionate, driven Deputy Manager to join our Lifelong Learning Centre in Oxfordshire and help us deliver an outstanding service for the people we support.
You'll work alongside the Frontline Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the centre, supporting, coaching and inspiring your team while ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. It's a role with real variety and real impact: one day you might be shaping person-centred plans and building community connections, the next you're mentoring a new starter, managing a budget, or stepping up to deputise for your manager.

What you'll be doing

Leading, coaching and supervising a team of support staff, helping them grow and deliver excellent, person-centred support

Ensuring the people we support are treated with dignity, respect and equality, and are supported to build meaningful relationships and community connections

Taking a leading role in quality, compliance and regulatory excellence (CQC and beyond)

Managing rotas, budgets and resources to keep the service running smoothly

Deputising for the Frontline Manager and stepping up when needed

Building strong, trusted relationships with families, colleagues and external partners
What we're looking for
At least 2 years' experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism, or in a related field
Proven experience leading, coaching or supervising a team
A track record of delivering person-centred, co-produced support
Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
Experience managing budgets and resources
A current driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends and on-call as required
