Overview
The Upton Inn is a popular, independent pub that continues to prosper and grow throughout the two years it has been opened under new management.
Within our village location we have developed a strong, loyal and growing following of passionate supporters, with a reputation for delivering a great food and drink offering and only the very best in customer service.
Alongside this we host an energetic array of events from weekly #UptonFridayLive music, Sunday ‘The Pianist Plays’, monthly Open Mic night and Irish Music nights through to themed food nights and banquets.

Essential Skills
- A minimum of 6 - 9 months experience in a customer facing role in hospitality
- Commitment to working weekends and evenings
- Motivation to work highly focused on high energy shifts and to be productive on quieter ones
- Ability to work independently and with responsibility
- Experience working as a positive, valuable member of a team
- Passionate about delivering incredible customer experience and a with a real liking of people
- Proven experience serving food and drink beverages (in front of and behind the bar)
- Highly competent handling customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism
- Problem-solving under pressure
Desirable Skills
- Barista experience
- Cocktail making skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 25.0 per week
