Job Role: Endoscopy Decontamination Technician
Base Location: Princess Royal University Hospital (other KFM sites as required)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £29,050 - £30,100 per annum + up to 12 % annual bonus

KFM is looking for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our endoscopy equipment is meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and ready for clinical use.
This Role Includes:
Reprocessing flexible endoscopes to national standards
Recording all activity in the track-and-trace system
Operating specialised equipment safely and effectively
Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and compliant environment
Participating in collections/deliveries across KFM sites (including driving duties at the Vanguard Unit)
Essential:
GCSEs (Grade C / Level 4) in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2
Team player with strong attention to detail
Ability to follow SOPs and maintain high standards under pressure
Basic computer and typing skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Desirable:
NVQ3 or equivalent in Decontamination
Experience in a healthcare or decontamination setting
Knowledge of infection control, COSHH, and health & safety procedures
