Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring all administrative functions run smoothly
- Manage and supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support
- Handle human resources responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
- Maintain accurate systems, records, and databases
- Organise schedules, meetings, and appointments for management and staff
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with external clients or suppliers
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal working conditions
- Develop and implement organisational policies and procedures
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when liaising with clients, vendors, and team members
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed
Experience
- ·Strong background in office administration, including exposure to sales and logistics processes
- Proven experience in the waste management industry
- Strong background in human resources management and team supervision
- Experience in an Office Manager, PA, or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities efficiently
