- This is not self employed or agency work, this is a directly employed role, paid monthly - you are paid by the hour, for every hour, that you work and not by how many parcels you deliver.

The role requires delivering flat packed (Home Furnishings) either via Collect Near You or directly to customer’s homes and businesses, in a 3.5T vehicle with an experienced driver’s mate. You won’t be required to assemble any of the items you deliver.
Heavy lifting, handling and carrying of products is part of this role and you will be required to support loading your vehicle.
With the customer at the heart of all we do, you will offer exceptional customer service at every stage of the process.
About the role:
We work in partnership with a well-known global furniture brand retailer and are looking for people who are confident in dealing with customers and who prefer an active role!
As the face of our company combined with a great service attitude, you will meet different people from all walks of life every day, no two days are the same as we deliver to family homes and business in and around your local area.
You will be accompanied by an experienced member of the team to put your first few weeks with us at ease as we welcome you into our business.
The role will require experience of safely operating a large vehicle whilst delivering to rural and built up areas.
Previous experience of multi drop delivering is desirable when considering applying for this role.
About You:
- A full clean UK driving license
- At least three year's driving experience
- Good Customer Service skills.
- Good knowledge of your local area
- Confident with dealing with customer queries.
- Ability to work part of a team and on own initiative.
- Good time management.
Due to the required heavy lifting, you will need to have a good level of fitness however there is appropriate equipment to assist when required.
You will be required to submit or share a Driving Licence Check with us before any offer of employment can be made. Interviews will be conducted by the Site Management team and will include general questions about your experience as well as a short practical driving assessment which includes a short quiz about the Highway Code.
Please make sure you bring your glasses if you need them to drive!
