We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Qualified Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and possess relevant experience in the field.
Duties
- Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and health & safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials utilised.
- Assist in training junior team members where necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
- Extensive electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills for liaising effectively with team members and clients.
