We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding and other welding techniques suitable for welding standards.
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure precise fabrication.
- Assemble fabricated components according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all fabrication activities.
- Inspect finished products for quality, durability, and adherence to project requirements before delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication processes.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal working techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication.
- Familiarity with assembly procedures and the use of various welding techniques specific to.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Pay is depending on experience, £14-£35.
