Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as required.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies.
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is essential.
- A keen interest in culinary practices and food preparation is advantageous.
