Nursery Room Leader
Overview
We are seeking a enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our nursery environment. The ideal candidate will possess motivational and supervisory skills, with a passion for working with children and supporting their early development. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while fostering a nurturing, safe, and engaging atmosphere.
Starting Salary: £32, 000- £37,000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays and other perks!
Duties
- Lead and supervise nursery staff to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety standards
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and organisational policies
- Support the professional development of team members through mentoring and training
- Organise rota schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance monitoring, and reporting
Experience
- Previous leadership experience within a early years setting
- knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children alongside the EYFS, Early Years Foundation Stages.
