Job Description
We’re looking for a people first, customer focused professional to join our people team as a People Business Partner. As a People Business Partner you will act as a key member of the People team and the Business Unit leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a `trusted advisor` to the Business Unit Senior Leadership team, providing valued and effective coaching and guidance in relation to all People challenges and opportunities
- Positively engage and work collaboratively with the Business Unit Senior Leadership team to ensure that the People plan is fully aligned to the business strategy: gaining true business ownership and understanding to enable successful implementation and embedding of the plan
- Supporting all People activity aligned to projects and Business Change within Business Unit
- Representing the People function on relevant BU Leadership meetings, change forums and committee’s where appropriate
- Helping to optimise and automate the People and business processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the People function
- Lead the people stream of Group projects; management of delivery, ROI, scope and recognising and managing risks and issues, evaluating and reviewing outcomes to inform future projects
- Providing insights following ongoing review of Business Unit MI including trends and analysis
- Support for all People Cyclical activity dependent on business needs
- Acting as a visible advocate and role model, creating an environment where our values are consistently demonstrated through your own and colleague’s behaviours.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Diverse industry and People expertise, with proven success in generalist, partnering roles in fast paced, multi-location and complex businesses
- Been a valued member of high performing leadership team within a highly customer centric service or property/retail industry environment
- Proven ability to influence, shape and lead significant change, creating truly customer centric environments.
- Ability to coach and guide others through complex and challenging people situations
- Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly to meet deadlines and to have the drive to deliver results
- Ability to develop relationships with colleagues, and the credibility to lead and influence management
- Self-motivated with passion, enthusiasm and tenacity
- Ability to analyse data and translate into customer focused and commercial HR solutions
- Understanding of relevant employment law and keep up to date with the latest insight from your industry.
