Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients under supervision.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, sanitized, and properly stored after use.
- Support the storage of ingredients and supplies in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Support the culinary team during busy service times by providing timely assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of food preparation, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
