Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 (or equivalent) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental milestones in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional security at all times
- Manage daily nursery routines, including meal times, naps, play sessions, and learning activities
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication about their child's progress and needs
- Support the professional development of team members by sharing best practices and providing guidance
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, organized, and conducive to learning at all times
Requirements
- Hold a valid Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and childcare regulations
- Ability to work 8.30am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday
- Valid driving license is desirable for transportation or outreach activities
