EC Logistics are currently looking for vehicle delivery (pick up and trailer) drivers to join the rapidly growing team.
This is a full time, permanent employed position, the role will see you moving and delivering vehicles (Car and LCVs) for predominantly corporate fleet customers using a Pick Up Truck and Tri-Axle Trailer combination. Experience of towing a trailer/caravan preferable.
You will work from your home address (or your own storage) and will be given full training and on-going support in ensuring your working day is planned in the most efficient and effective manner. This is a key role in the business and you will be fully supported in delivering the best levels of service possible.
As you will be the face of both ours and our customers business you must be smartly presented at all times and we are seeking a long term relationship with the right candidates as we continue to grow our service nationwide. Uniform will be provided.
Essentials:
We require you to have held a full UK driving licence, (for both manual and automatic vehicles), for at least 8 years with a maximum of 3 current penalty points and previous towing experience preferrable however training will be given.
Requirements:
- Private off road parking at home for a truck and trailer or access to secure storage.
- 4/5g Enabled Smartphone or tablet.
- Good geographic knowledge of the UK and road network.
- Must have held a full and unrestricted UK licence for a minimum of 8 years, with no more than 3 penalty points (awarded or pending).
- References may be required.
- Good attention to detail.
- Capable of using their initiative.
- Great communication skills.
- Able to pass a basic DBS check.
Preferable:
Salary starts at £29,741.40pa, £1,500 Annual bonus. Ad-Hoc Overnight/Weekend Allowance where required.
