Little Plums Nursery is seeking a warm, dedicated, and passionate Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality early years practice, ensuring every child is cared for in a happy, secure, and stimulating environment.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of safeguarding and confidently implement our safeguarding procedures to keep children safe.
- Carry out the Key Person role, building trusted relationships with parents and children while supporting each child’s individual care, development, and learning needs.
- Observe, support, and encourage children to meet their developmental milestones through tailored activities linked to their interests, preparing them for school readiness.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver an engaging curriculum in line with the EYFS requirements, working collaboratively with the team.
- Work in genuine partnership with parents, offering daily, informative feedback to support each child’s progress.
- Follow all Little Plums Nursery policies and procedures to maintain high standards across the setting.
- Work effectively as part of a team and liaise with outside agencies when required to support children with additional needs.
- Participate fully in our mandatory induction programme to uphold high care, learning, and safety standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and wellbeing throughout the nursery.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
- Passionate about child development and delivering outstanding early education
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach
- Ability to work as part of a supportive, motivated team
