Bradley David Associates is recruiting a Guillotine Operator to join our renowned client based in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining guillotine cutting machines to ensure precision and efficiency in the production process. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
Summary:
- Monday to Friday, afternoons
- £27,000-£28,000 dependent on experience
- Must have experience with Guilly Polar Machines or other Guillotines
- Permanent, Full time
Duties
- Operate and setting Polar Guillotines machines to cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Fabricate components as required, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Assemble finished products and components, following technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to use Polar Guillotines
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
