Job Overview
We are a small family run Wealth Management practice established for over 25years. We are looking to recruit someone either directly after A levels or University for the role of practice administrator. The role over time and with grown experience, allows career progression into varied roles such as practice manager, specialisations such as paraplanning or to becoming a financial adviser within the practice.
We will provide training opportunities for the right individual to progress within the practice. We are looking for someone who is eager to make a difference, become part of our small family and help us continue to grow the business. Someone who uses their initiative, who has excellent communication skills and excellent grammar. Someone who can learn quickly and add value where they see we can do something more effectively.
REPORTING TO: Practice/Operations Manager
LOCATION: Office Based - Kenilworth Office (there is an option for some flexibility)
HOURS: Full Time – 9 am – 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch
Salary: £24,000 per annum, pension, 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and at our discretion between Christmas and New Year. Performance bonus (at our discretion) per annum. You add value to our business and do a great job we will recognise this and reward it. Salary reviewed annually.
Key Responsibilites
Client Support
· Answer and make phone calls and respond to basic client requests. Comfortable on the phone. Able to be professional.
Data Management
· Update and maintain client records accurately on various financial software systems.
Document Preparation
· Prepare reports, valuations and paperwork for client reviews and other meetings.
Office Administration
· Scan and distribute post coming in, order office supplies, and manage electronic filing systems.
Process Tracking
· Track and chase new business applications and check for missing information.
Compliance
· Complete annual internal modules/sessions to meet compliance requirements.
Team Support
· Ability to work as part of a small team and help others within that team as and when required.
· Add value to the team.
Required Skills
· Communication: English speaking. Excellent communication skills across all areas e.g. with clients of all ages, third party providers and team members. Understand etiquette of dealing with clients. High level of confidentiality.
· Organization: Superb time keeper. Manage time well and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
· Ability to meet deadlines.
· Happy to work on their own
· Attention to Detail: Keep financial data accurate and follow strict rules.
· Computer Literacy: Excellent
· Use Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel with ease. Able to learn new software packages like Salesforce.
· Experience with AI is useful as we will be implementing specific AI technology in our business.
Entry Requirements
· ‘A’ Levels (A* to C), including English and Maths at GCSE.
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Eager to learn, reliable and professional.
Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
