Overview
Enish Glasgow seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a lively dining/club environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within catering, serving, and hospitality sectors, contributing to memorable guest experiences. Previous restaurant or club experience is advantageous, alongside a strong understanding of food safety standards and a strong understanding of African cuisine would be a huge benefit. All positions are on a zero hour basis and provide a dynamic working environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcome throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when appropriate
- Serve food and drinks efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
- Set up and clear tables promptly, ensuring the dining area remains clean and organised
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including catering options and specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Uphold cleanliness standards in all front of house areas, including the bar and dining space
- Support team members during events or special functions, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Work the bar and floor effectively on busy club nights
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- A genuine interest in hospitality, food presentation, and customer care
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to work
- Experience in a club environment is advantageous
- Cocktail and general bar service skills is advantageous
