We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to memorable customer service. Must have Cocktail making experience as will be making a range of different cocktails.
* **Hours are 6pm to 1am Friday and Saturday evenings plus bank holidays. ***
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate billing.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
- Follow health and safety procedures consistently to uphold a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality as a bartender is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Strong serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for engaging with diverse customers.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods required.
