Job Description
PURPOSE
The England Women pathway is seeking an innovative and development-focused Performance Analyst to support the England Women U19 programme and wider Cricket Intelligence function on a project and campaign basis. This role is designed as a flexible, high-impact consultancy position aligned to key camps, competitions, overseas tours, scouting projects and strategic intelligence initiatives across the England Women pathway. This is not a traditional reporting role focused solely on coding and post-match analysis. The project centres around accelerating player learning, improving cricket IQ and building modern intelligence systems that better connect coaching, scouting, tactical insight and player development. The role would suit an analyst who enjoys operating dynamically across performance support, education, innovation and intelligence strategy within elite sport, including the demands of occasional overseas touring and high-intensity camp environments.
WHO WE ARE
The England and Wales Cricket Board is the national governing body for all cricket in England and Wales, supporting the game at every level – from grassroots to professional.
We believe cricket is a force for good that can have an enduring impact on everyone’s lives and we have an ambitious strategy to inspire a generation to say ‘cricket is a game for me’. It provides great entertainment. It teaches important skills, both physical and social. It can help inclusion and social cohesion, bringing communities together.
The ECB welcomes applications from all backgrounds to ensure we deliver our Inspiring Generations strategy and fulfil our purpose to connect communities and improve lives through cricket.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF
You are passionate about developing young cricketers and get genuine satisfaction from helping players think better, make smarter decisions and improve their understanding of the game.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are excited by the intersection of coaching, analysis and education, using data, video and insight not just to review performance, but to create meaningful learning experiences.
You’ll be very good at this role if you can translate complex information into simple, actionable messages, helping players and coaches apply insight in real time within training, matches and tours.
You’ll enjoy this role if you are curious about intelligence, scouting and talent identification, and are motivated by connecting information from multiple sources to support better development and selection decisions.
You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy operating in dynamic, high-performance environments, balancing frontline support at camps and tours with longer-term innovation projects that shape the future of England Women’s pathway system.
