Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Solar Panel Installation Roofers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing solar panels on rooftops, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Safely install solar panels on various roof types, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure mounting brackets and panels efficiently.
- Perform welding tasks as needed to ensure secure mounting structures.
- Conduct inspections of installed panels to verify proper alignment and connection.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation activities and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical components and connections during installation processes.
- Carry out basic mechanical tasks related to the assembly and adjustment of solar mounting systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing, solar panel installation, or related construction roles.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to solar energy installations is highly desirable.
- Self employed through cis scheme
- Mechanical knowledge to understand system components and ensure proper assembly.
- Ability to work at heights safely and comfortably on rooftops of varying pitches and structures.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for precise installation work.
- Excellent teamwork abilities combined with good communication skills.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
