As we grow, we have fantastic opportunity for chef to join us in our fast-paced and thriving kitchen.
We are looking for a creative, reliable Line Chef, with an eye for detail, to initially work competently on both larder and grill sections, with ambition to be trained to run the pass.
A minimum of 1 year experience of working on a section in a professional kitchen is required. You must be competent in food preparation, working a busy service, storage and labeling, stock control and maintaining a professional attitude and personal hygiene in the workplace.
FULL-TIME
Salary: £14 per hour with average £5 per hour tronc on top.
We expect you to…
- ensure the smooth running of your section
- be a key part of a small, but interdependent, team.
- meet the standards set - consistent prep, cooking and plating
- abide by all EHO practices and carry out thorough cleaning of equipment
- maintain daily worklists to indicate which tasks must be done for each day
- read, write, understand and speak English
- legally work in the UK
Experience
- Food and Hygiene level 2 (minimum)
- At least 2 years of cooking (preferred)
