Senior Accountant Salary: £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience
Location: Lampeter Office
Working pattern: Office-first, with full- or part-time hours available.
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our growing team in a senior capacity, working across a broad range of clients and playing a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience.

We are a team of around 20 staff and pride ourselves on being hard-working, friendly and supportive. Although we work across different offices, we bring everyone together regularly to keep the wider team connected.
We are fully cloud-based and use modern systems including Karbon, Xero and Dext, with a strong focus on automation and the growing use of AI in practice.
The role
This is a senior, client-facing position with real technical responsibility. You will work across a wide range of clients — sole traders, partnerships and limited companies — delivering high quality work and helping to maintain the strong client relationships we are known for.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing accounts across a wide variety of client types
- Reviewing and signing off on work produced by junior team members
- Conducting accounts review meetings with clients and keeping in touch throughout the year
- Overseeing VAT returns and tax work, including company and personal tax
- Providing proactive advice to clients on their finances, systems and processes
- Managing multiple deadlines effectively and taking ownership of your workload
- Supporting junior staff with technical queries and day-to-day guidance
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm
What we're looking for
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified preferred
- Experience in accountancy practice at a senior level
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts, VAT and tax
- Confident and professional in client-facing situations
- Ability to review others' work and provide constructive feedback
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting systems
- Genuine commitment to client care and continuous improvement
