Personal Assistant
Full Time and Part Time Positions Available
£12.71 per hour or £12.96 per hour for NVQ Level 2 or above
The role will include:
· Providing full personal care with dignity and respect.
· Supporting individuals with medication (in line with training and policy).
· Assisting with mobility and safe transfers (including hoisting).
· Supporting specialist health needs such as PEG feeding.
· Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities.
· Supporting access to the community.
· Completing clear and accurate care documentation.
· Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing and individual choice at all times.
· Creating a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence, protects human rights and reflects everyone’s personal goals.
To be successful in this role you will:
· Hold or be willing to work towards) NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent.
· Be caring, patient, compassionate and respectful.
· Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Be reliable, flexible and adaptable.
· Be committed to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
· Be willing to undertake ongoing training and development.
