No experience needed — just curiosity, confidence and a willingness to learn.
Looking for a graduate job that isn't just answering emails all day? Want a career, not just a first job?
We're a small, growing software and digital solutions business near Ashford, and we're looking for our next Application Support & Product Executive — someone at the start of their career who wants to build real, transferable skills in software, customer support and product management.
You'll start by learning the ropes in customer and application support, and as your confidence grows, you'll take ownership of real products, become the internal go-to expert, and help shape how customers use our software. Within your first year or two, this role can genuinely open the door to becoming a Product Owner, Product Specialist or Customer Success Manager.
Why This Is a Great Graduate Role
- You don't need a computer science degree or coding skills — just an interest in how technology works and the ability to explain things clearly
- Real career progression, not a dead-end support job — this is designed to grow into product ownership
- Varied, hands-on work across customer support, software, product and business operations, so you'll build a genuinely broad skill set
- Small, close-knit team where you'll be trusted with real responsibility early on, not stuck doing admin in a corner
- Training and mentorship as you build your knowledge of our products and the SaaS industry
What You'll Be Doing
- Being the first point of contact for customer queries by phone, email and online
- Investigating issues and solving straightforward problems yourself
- Passing trickier technical issues to the development team, with the right information attached
- Helping new customers get set up and confident using our software
- Running product demos and training sessions for customers
- Writing user guides and support documentation
- Becoming a specialist ("product champion") for specific software products
- Feeding customer feedback back to the development and leadership teams
- Spotting opportunities where customers could benefit from other products or features
- Helping test new features and product releases before launch
- Picking up general customer operations tasks, including invoicing
- Getting stuck into wider business activities — events, communications, occasional marketing
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for a recent graduate, school/college leaver, or anyone early in their career — including those coming from retail, hospitality, customer service or any job where they've learned to deal with people and problems.
You'll do well here if you are:
- A confident, patient communicator who enjoys helping people
- Genuinely curious about technology and digital products
- A natural problem-solver who likes figuring things out
- Organised enough to juggle several customer queries at once
- Proactive — happy to take initiative rather than wait to be told what to do
- Flexible and up for pitching in wherever a small business needs support
- Comfortable picking up new software and online systems quickly
- Able to explain things simply, without hiding behind jargon
No prior experience in software, IT or SaaS is required — though if you've had a part-time job, internship, placement or society role that involved customer contact, problem-solving or organisation, we'd love to hear about it.
What's On Offer
- £25,000 starting salary
- 5% employer pension contribution
- 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Your birthday off
- Real, hands-on experience across application support, customer operations and SaaS products
- A clear route towards product ownership as you grow with the business
- A supportive, close-knit team invested in your development
Please note: due to our rural location, you'll need access to your own transport.
